Certificate Program Summary
The Executive Certificate in Internet Marketing program will show how a comprehensive examination of tactics and strategies across social media, mobile marketing, online analytics, and search engine marketing can fully leverage the Internet for achieving business goals. Participants will learn how to integrate new tactics and strategies with traditional marketing tools and practices aimed at capturing new customers, building customer loyalty, providing superior customer service, developing new products, improving profitability and conducting marketing research.
This Executive Certificate in Internet Marketing is a five-course program offered in partnership with ASPE, Inc., a leading IT and SDLC (Systems Development Life Cycle) provider, that is dedicated to providing certification tools, techniques, skills, and leader knowledge that enable professionals to harness IT for business success and transform complex IT/business challenges into strategic capabilities. Based in Cary, North Carolina, (the Research Triangle) ASPE has joined with the Executive Certificate Program at the John Cook School of Business to partner in a core mission to empower companies to gain critical competitive advantage and lead through innovative and expert training for sustaining quick and effective problem solutions and goal attainment. ASPE, Inc. has a full public course schedule across more than 75 North American cities as well as live, instructor-led sessions over the internet. The courses offer professional development units (PDUs, CDUs, and/or CPEs) and are approved by:
- The Project Management Institute (PMI®) as a Registered Education Provider (REP).
- The International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA) as an endorsed education provider (EEP).
- The Scrum Alliance as a Registered Education Provider (REP)
- The National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) as an approved provider of training.
Certificate Program Content
The Executive Certificate in Internet Marketing is compromised of a total of five courses. Individuals are required to take two core courses, and then may choose three courses from six elective course offerings.

The Executive Education Program at the John Cook School of Business at Saint Louis University recognizes and approves these professional courses as a requirement for the five-course Internet Marketing executive certificate program, co-sponsored with ASPE, Inc. Upon completion of the program, Saint Louis University awards the Executive Certificate in Internet Marketing. Students have three years from their first class to complete all certificate requirements.
