The Saint Louis University School of Law and the John Cook School of Business jointly administer a JD/MBA dual degree, full-time program.

Law Meets Business

Graduates of SLU’s dual JD/MBA program earn both a Juris Doctor and a Master’s of Business Administration, and the dual degree program allows students to receive both degrees faster than if they pursued them separately.

This program includes a study abroad component, in which students will study foreign-based business cases, attend guest lectures, and between the fall and spring semesters, they will take an international trip and study abroad for two weeks to gain valuable hands-on international business experience!

A substantial benefit of joint programs is the reduction in time necessary to complete the degrees separately. Students must apply to and be accepted by both schools. Students are expected to complete studies in both degree areas simultaneously.

The program objective is to improve the effectiveness of managers and policy and legal advisors to business by training individuals to understand the importance of the issues, skills, and methods in both law and business.
