During a meet and greet reception, Fred Pestello, Ph.D., president of Saint Louis University, welcomed the new students and paid homage to the legacy of pioneering and entrepreneurship that built Saint Louis University. Following his message, the new and current Blue Diamonds each shared a brief overview of their project or existing business.

The Spring cohort includes, Nico Stranquist, a freshman studying Computer Science and Entrepreneurship, and Chef Kurt Stiles, Master of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics with an Emphasis in Food Innovation and Entrepreneurship.

SLU’s Blue Diamonds Accelerator provides training, mentoring and support for up to three non-graduating undergraduate and graduate students per semester who have an idea or existing business.
