Saint Louis University Graduate Business Students Place Fourth in National Intercollegiate Supply Chain Competition

On February 28, John Cook School of Business MBA and MS-Supply Chain Management students J.D. Schneider, Yan Zheng, Zhimian Lin, Thomas Burke and Bohan Zhang competed and placed fourth in the 2015 JDA Supply Chain Challenge. The competition is an annual intercollegiate challenge requiring students to make data-driven, analytical decisions surrounding forecasting, capacity/inventory management, scheduling and pricing.

According to Justin Goodson, Ph.D., assistant professor of operations and IT management, “The SLU team edged out 78 groups, including teams from major universities such as MIT, Georgia Tech, Yale and the University of Michigan — that’s very impressive.”
