Saint Louis University Hosts Annual Emerson International Business Conference Friday, Nov. 21
The event will focus on global business and feature a cybersecurity panel
ST. LOUIS – Saint Louis University will host the annual Emerson International Business Conference from 7:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 21, in the Wool Ballroom at the University’s Busch Student Center, 20 N. Grand at Laclede.
The morning session will include a cybersecurity panel featuring:
- Ari Schwartz, Senior Director of Cybersecurity for the U.S. National Security Council at the White House
- Matt McCabe, Senior Vice President of Network Security and Privacy Practice at Marsh & McLennan in New York
- Matthew Porter, Founder and CEO of St. Louis-based Contegix
- Anish Bhimani, CIO of J.P. Morgan Commercial Bank in New York
Wendy Cutler, Deputy Trade Representative with the U.S. Trade Office in Washington, D.C., will also discuss “Highlights of the Obama Administration’s Trade Agenda in the Asia-Pacific Region.”
The luncheon speaker, Walter Wang, Chairman and CEO of JM Eagle Inc., the world’s largest manufacturer of plastic pipe, will speak on “The Impact of Corporate Global Responsibility on Global Business.”

The cost is $95 per ticket or $720 for a table of eight until Friday, Nov. 7 after which the price for individual tickets is $105 or $800 for a table of eight. This fee includes a networking breakfast, morning program, networking break and a sit-down luncheon with a keynote speaker, parking, and conference materials.
