This week, John Cook School of Business Graduate students will be heading to Omaha, Neb. where they will meet business magnate Warren Buffett, CEO of Berkshire Hathaway. Students from our One-Year MBA, Evening MBA, and Specialized Graduate Degree programs will have a question and answer session with Mr. Buffett and a tour of Nebraska Furniture Mart, a subsidiary of Berkshire Hathaway. Graduate students from several other universities around the country will also be attending.
Want a glimpse into what it’s like to meet one of the most successful businessmen and investors of the 20th century? You can follow along on Twitter by using the hashtag #SLUMeetsBuffett. Scott Clithero, a One-Year MBA student, will be guest tweeting from our official @SLUCookBusiness account (All of his tweets will be tagged with the #ScottAtSLU hashtag).
This is the seventh year that our graduate class has made this trip, and it continues to be a highlight for those who attend. Our graduate business students also have the opportunity to study abroad in Hong Kong and Madrid.
