'U.S. News & World Report' Names SLU Among Top-100 National Universities
ST. LOUIS — Saint Louis University is one of the top-100 national universities in the country according to U.S. News & World Report, which released its annual undergraduate rankings Tuesday.
In the publication’s “Best Colleges 2015” guidebook, SLU was ranked No. 99 among the country’s 267 national universities on a list topped by Princeton, Harvard and Yale. The ranking places SLU among the top-five Jesuit institutions on the national universities list.
U.S. News also ranked SLU’s John Cook School of Business No. 79 on a list of the nation’s leading undergraduate business programs. The school is home to a number of the country’s top-rated specialties as well, including entrepreneurship (#12), international business (#18) and supply chain management.
In a new category for this year, U.S. News ranked SLU No. 20 among national universities on a list of “Best Colleges for Veterans.” In recent years, the University has committed additional resources to assist servicemen and women and their families. The top-100 U.S. News national university ranking comes on the heels of other national recognition for SLU’s academic programs, which are grounded in a longstanding Jesuit commitment to excellence and rigor.
In July, the University was named to Forbes’ “America’s Best Colleges” list, with the magazine also calling SLU a “rising star.” Read more about the Forbes listing here.
