SLU Dean’s Breakfast Series Welcomes Dana Abraham, President of Private Wealth Management at UMB

Abraham will present “My Lessons in Leadership” during the April 29 event

ST. LOUIS - Saint Louis University’s John Cook School of Business will host the latest edition of the Dean’s Breakfast Series with special guest Dana Abraham, president of Private Wealth Management at UMB on Tuesday, April 29, at John and Lucy Cook Hall.

The event begins with a networking breakfast at 7:30 a.m. in the Shanahan Atrium followed by Abraham’s special presentation “My Lessons in Leadership” at 8:00 a.m. in the Anheuser-Busch Auditorium. The event is sponsored by UMB.

The Dean’s Breakfast series is free and open to the public and Saint Louis University community. However, registration is requested. Visit deansbreakfast.slu.edu to register.

About the Speaker:

dana-abraham-135x135Dana Abraham joined UMB Private Wealth Management in 2005. As President of the Private Wealth Management Division, she is responsible for delivery of comprehensive financial services to high-net-worth clients. Dana oversees the Private Wealth Management senior leadership team in conjunction with development and execution of the strategic vision of the division. Her areas of focus include Wealth Planning, Private Banking, Personal Trust, Investment Management and Insurance.

Prior to joining UMB, Dana was employed by Bank of America. She spent 18 years as a senior vice president within the Premier Banking and Investment division. There, she managed 16 private banking managers focused on the affluent segment in Kansas City, Iowa and Kansas.

Dana earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a concentration in both accounting and economics from the University of Louisiana.

She is a graduate of Leadership Overland Park and Kansas City Tomorrow Leadership programs. Dana is also on the Board of Directors of the REACH Foundation, is a founding member of the Women’s Leadership Council of the United Way of Greater Kansas City, and is a member of the Central Exchange. She was recognized as one of the Kansas City Business Journal’s Women Who Mean Business class of 2011.
