SLU Center for Entrepreneurship Announces the 2013-2014 Smurfit-Stone Entrepreneurial Alumni Hall of Fame Inductees

SLU will award four alumni during annual ceremony 

The Center for Entrepreneurship at Saint Louis University’s John Cook School of Business presents the 2013-2014 inductees of the Smurfit-Stone Entrepreneurial Alumni Hall of Fame. The four prestigious alumni will receive awards for their distinguished careers and personification of the Center’s motto “Do Good, Do Well.”

The inductees will be recognized during a special ceremony on Wednesday, April 23 at 6 p.m. at John and Lucy Cook Hall at Saint Louis University.

In addition to the Induction Ceremony, the Center will celebrate the next generation of SLU entrepreneurs. During the event undergraduate students who were winners of the SLU ‘Real’ Elevator Pitch competition and the SLU Idea to Product competition will be introduced. Additionally, a $5,000 award will be presented to one of the Center’s Diamond in the Rough members, the most exclusive club on campus for SLU student entrepreneurs that run legitimate businesses.

Saint Louis University is celebrating forty years of teaching entrepreneurship, making the institution one of the first twenty-five in the world to teach this crucial business skill. Today the John Cook School of Business’ entrepreneurship program is not only one of the longest standing programs of its kind, but also one of the leading top 15 nationally ranked programs. The Center’s faculty is dedicated to developing the next generation of entrepreneurs.
