Service Leadership Hosts Raffle Fundraiser for Blue Santa Toy Drive

This week the John Cook School of Business Service Leadership Program will kick off a raffle fundraiser in support of the University’s annual Blue Santa Toy Drive. An array of prizes has been donated by local businesses, and students, faculty, and staff can purchase raffle tickets for chances to win the prizes the weeks of Nov.11 and 18. Raffle tickets will be sold in the Cook School’s Shanahan Atrium and the Busch Student Center, and are available for $3 for one ticket or $5 for two tickets.

The SLU community is invited to help collect toys or donate funds to help make the holidays bright for area children. The Blue Santa will visit offices around campus to collect toys on Dec. 2-3.

Drive collections will benefit children participating in this year’s “Christmas at SLU” celebration taking place Thursday, Dec. 5. Christmas at SLU is a yearly tradition that welcomes more than 200 underprivileged children to campus for a fun afternoon of games, food and presents from Santa Claus.

The Blue Santa Toy Drive is sponsored by the Center for Service and Community Engagement, the Cook School’s Service Leadership Program and Campus Ministry.
