World Forum Renews Jesuit Commitment to Sustainability

This week 120 university presidents, deans and faculty from Jesuit business schools from around the world gathered at the John Cook School of Business as part of the IAJBS and CJBE World Forum. Highlights from the event include special keynote presentations from Fr. Michael Garanzini, Fr. Pedro Walpole, Andy Savitz and Kathy Cramer where they discussed topics including sustainability, especially as it relates to Jesuit business education. Attendees shared papers and offered workshops on issues ranging from classroom teaching to initiatives expanding Jesuit business education in Africa and elsewhere.

World Forum attendees had the opportunity to tour the Donald Danforth Plant Science Center, experience Saint Louis University’s recently opened Center for Global Citizenship, and a special dinner at Busch Stadium to wrap up a successful conference.

The event served as the 16th annual meeting of the CJBE and the 19th annual meeting of the IAJBS.
