Numerof to Speak on Healthcare

Dr. Rita Numerof will be the featured speaker at the annual Gruenberg Society Spring Event at the John Cook School of Business.

Dr. Numerof’s presentation will focus on how healthcare is changing. Utilizng her recent book as her presentation focus, she will discuss a new market-based model that aligns financing mechanisms – moving from pay- for-procedures to a holistic, market-based approach – across the spectrum of healthcare related industries with the goal of prevention, improved quality and reduced cost for consumers

The event will begin with Numerof’s presentation, “The Changing World of Healthcare: Educate Yourself on Issues Affecting Women and Families in 2013,” at 5 p.m. in the Anheuser-Busch Auditorium of Cook Hall, 3674 Lindell Blvd.Cocktails and networking follow at 6:30 p.m.
