Service Day Another Huge Success

Saint Louis University’s John Cook School of Business recently gave back to the community as part of the university’s larger Jesuit mission. The Eight Annual Service Day took place Friday, April 5, 2013 at the Matthew-Dickey Boys and Girls Club in St. Louis, MO.

The Service Day serves as part of the Cook School’s core mission to instill ethical values in our students. The project included over 150 students, faculty, and staff from the business school donating five hours to help serve the Boys and Girls Club in many ways. Individuals were assigned to a team and each team had a unique service project to focus on. Activities ranged from cleaning, organizing, landscaping, and painting.

Overall the day was a huge success! Don’t take it from us, hear what the students have to say about it!
