University Prepares for Inclement Weather
The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm warning for the St. Louis metro area today, February 21, 2013. In anticipation for the inclement weather Saint Louis University is taking the necessary precautions to ensure the safety of students, faculty, staff, and guests.
For up to date information regarding the current status of university activities including cancellations and closures, individuals should call the university snowline at (314) 977-SNOW (7669).

Additionally announcements will be made on the following television and radio regarding any changes in university scheduled events:
University Winter Weather Terms Defined
The following policies extend to all operating divisions of the University with the exception of SLUCare, which has its own policy based on operational requirements concerning weather-related reductions in service. For more information, please refer to the University’s winter storm policy on the Web. There you will find information about SLUCare as well.
- Snow Schedule: All classes and university activites continue after 10:00 a.m. as scheduled
- Cancellation of Classes: Scheduled classes are suspended, but all other university activities are conitnued
- Closure of University: All university activities are suspended and all offices are closed; only emergency and essential employees identified by their respective vice presidents need to report to work
