General William Fraser III to present on USTRANSCOM'S strategic challenges and opportunities

General William Fraser III, commander of the United States Transportation Command at Scott Air Force Base, will discuss “USTRANSCOM’S Strategic Challenges and Opportunities” at 11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 15, in the Xavier Ballroom at St. Francis Xavier College Church, 3628 Lindell Blvd. Registration is required.


The program is part of the Annual Distinguished Guest Speaker Series and is presented by the Center for Supply Chain Management at SLU’s John Cook School of Business and the Scott AFB/St. Louis Chapter of the National Defense Transportation Association.


About Gen. William Fraser:

Fraser heads USTRANSCOM, the single manager for global air, land and sea transportation for the Department of Defense.


Prior to assuming his current position, Fraser was the commander of the Air Combat Command at Langley Air Force Base, Va., and Air Component Commander for U.S. Joint Forces Command, where he led over 130,000 Total Force Airmen.


Fraser has also served as chief of staff for the U.S. Strategic Command and as the Assistant to the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff and the 34th Vice Chief of Staff at the U.S. Air Force headquarters in Washington, D.C.
