The World Forum: Sustainability & Business Practices: Implications for Our Schools

Saint Louis University’s John Cook School of Business, the International Association of Jesuit Business Schools, and the Colleagues in Jesuit Business Education present “The World Forum: Sustainability & Business Practices - Implications for our Schools” taking place July 14-16, 2013 at the John and Lucy Cook Hall, 3674 Lindell Blvd. St. Louis, MO.
The event serves as the 16th Annual Meeting of the Jesuit Colleagues in Jesuit Business (CJBE) and the 19th Annual Meeting of the International Assocation of Jesuit Business Schools (IAJBS).

The theme for the World Forum is focused on the role that Jesuit business schools must play in driving change that makes sustainability become a key part of the planning and operations of all businesses across the globe.
The joint meeting of the IAJBS and CJBE at the Cook School will encourage discussion of the scholarship, pedagogy, and practice of sustainability under the following general themes:
- Sustainability and Business Operations
- Sustainability and Social Justice
- Sustainability and Emerging Economies
- Sustainability in Higher Education

Call For Papers
The call for papers is meant to encourage submissions that cover the following topics:
- Sustainability and Business Operations
- Sustainability an Social Justice
- Sustainability and Emerging Economies
- Sustainability in Higher Education
While these topics are the main focus we will consider unique contributions from authors that connect to the World Forum theme in other topical areas as well.
Authors of accepted papers will have the opportunity to submit their articles for review and publication in the Journal of Jesuit Business Education (JJBE), as well as the Journal of Management for Global Sustainability (JMGS).
