College students from across the country and Canada entered this year’s business pitch deck competition. The Saint Louis University Center for Entrepreneurship’s 2017 Pitch & Catch pitch deck competition winners were selected this past weekend during the final round of the competition. College students from across the country submitted their ideas for the competition by video, and the top 10 finalists presented their ideas live to a panel of all-star judges at Gateway Grizzlies ballpark.
On April 30th, students from across the United States will be in St. Louis to participate in Pitch and Catch, a deck competition put on by the Center For Entrepreneurship. Students will present their ideas to investors, entrepreneurs, and startup founders while standing on the mound of GCS ballpark, home of the Gateway Grizzlies. First place will win $5,000 and the chance to pitch to the Billiken Angels Network, Saint Louis University’s angel investment group.
The hosted its annual Teen Escalator Pitch competition for high school students on December 4th, and the "Real" Elevator Pitch for college students on December 5th.
This weekend, competitors from colleges across the US will be in St. Louis competing in the "Real" Elevator Pitch Competition, sponsored by our Center for Entrepreneurship. The "Real" Elevator Pitch competition features real students and real pitches on real elevators in the second tallest building in Missouri (One Met Square @ 40 stories) with real investors (net wealth last year was ~$2.2BB). Students will be competing for a first place grand prize of cash and a trip to SXSW (South By Southwest) in Austin, TX in March 2017.
