In addition to enrolling into the program they have had the opportunity to join the World Pediatric Project as volunteers.World Pediatric Project (WPP) is a non profit organization with the mission to heal critically ill children primarily from developing countries and build healthcare capacity in the world. WPP addresses these issues from different perspectives, from sending surgical and diagnostic teams to provide treatment to those countries to bringing children in need of especially complex care to U.S.-based facilities. Both offices partner to fulfill WPP’s mission to heal critically ill children and build healthcare capacity in the world.
