Associate Professor of Management
Times change. There is a lot of talk about the “good old days,” but on closer inspection, maybe there was room for improvement. One change I celebrate daily is the opportunity for women to study business and become full players in the business world. For many years, I’ve been very fortunate to have the opportunity to guide both undergraduate and graduate students as a business school professor teaching business law while concurrently practicing law. My own educational experience as one of very few women business majors (at Butler University) and one of a not-so-large group of female law students (at Indiana University), as well as teaching and practicing law have all joined to give me an interesting perspective on women’s changing opportunities and roles in business.
