On Saturday, October 1st, SLU welcomed 22 finalists from 10 different High Schools (Affton, Bayless, DeSmet, Fox, Gateway STEM, Marquette, McCluer North, Parkway West, Priory, Nerinx) for the 2nd Annual Teen Idea Dash. Over 140 submissions from more than 21 schools were received for the first round during which all area high school students were asked to send us their best ideas to the following problem: "Now that the Rams are gone, how would you repurpose the Edward Jones Dome to be a place to connect and include young people in Saint Louis?"
Saint Louis University Presents Its 1st Teen “Escalator” Pitch Competition for Teen Entrepreneurs at the Edward Jones Dome
The John Cook School of Business’s Center of Entrepreneurship welcomed 24 teen entrepreneurs from 15 different St. Louis area high schools on Saturday, December 5, 2105 to participate in Saint Louis University’s 1st Teen Escalator Pitch Competition. These 24 finalists presented their best business pitches one-on-one to judges while riding a series of escalators at the Edward Jones Dome, home of the St. Louis Rams. Over 50 submissions from 17 area high schools were received for the first round of the competition!
