One-Year MBA Student - Class of 2015
For most students, their goal upon graduating is to have a job that corresponds to their selected major or emphasis and I am no different. Upon entering into the One-Year MBA, I knew I would have to start as soon as possible on this quest in order to secure the right position for me; I also knew that this would likely occur through finding an internship for the spring. With this in mind, I made two goals for this fall semester to aid or supplement my goal and subsequent search: research and network. I then did my best to carry out these tasks in order to know exactly kind of internship I wanted, who was offering such positions and looking for candidates such as myself, while also building relationships with individuals in these organizations as well as in my future career field of Human Resources. I believe this formula to be one that students of any area of emphasis or concentration can apply to their internship or job search and not only expect, but also receive, positive results.
