Notable Faculty

Our faculty is at the center of our efforts to provide a high quality and challenging educational experience. They are academically prepared in their special field of management and have professional experience in a variety of work settings. One of their many strengths is to integrate their professional experience into classroom learning. and include the application of “theory” to real world situations.

Theory Into Action

The Cook School curriculum incorporates opportunities for students to gain hands-on experience, such as participating in the operation of a used textbook consignment business.

Professional Organizations

The department supports two student organizations, the Collegiate Entrepreneurs Organization (CEO) and the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM). CEO provides students the opportunity to help operate a small business, and SHRM provides networking opportunities for students as well as leadership and communication development opportunities.
