His research is primarily focused on early-life health in developing countries. In his dissertation, he explores whether provision of community health and family planning services plays an important role in shaping child’s human capital formation through improving parental health and providing the means to time fertility to avoid pregnancies during unwanted times. His research findings have important implications for health policies in developing countries.
