eWeb is a web portal sponsored by Jerome Katz, the Coleman Foundation Chair in Entrepreneurship, from the John Cook School of Business at Saint Louis University. Whether you are a student, already an entrepreneur, or hoping to become (or help) either, eWeb connects you to resources that can help you do your best. Started in 1994, eWeb has grown to be linked to over 700 sites worldwide, including the small business government support agencies of most of the English-speaking world. Although primarily targeted at the needs of entrepreneurship students and faculty, eWeb has won awards for its usefulness to entrepreneurs as well as entrepreneurship academics.
InnovateVMS is a region-wide program offering a venture mentoring service (VMS) patterned after a successful program based at MIT University. The Center for Entrepreneurship represents SLU in the InnovateVMS program, and can make referrals. InnovateVMS is free to the person being mentored. The program is aimed at entrepreneurs with existing businesses who are looking for mentoring advice to help them grow to the next level. The Coleman Foundation is a private, independent grant making foundation established in 1951. The Foundation supports educational institutions offering entrepreneurship education across the country as well as other important causes. The Coleman Foundation provides programmatic and financial support to the Center of Entrepreneurship and to the Coleman Chair at Saint Louis University.
