The Weekly Innovation Challenge is a competition that bring students together from different majors and disciplines to develop a response to a new weekly impromptu challenge.
About the Program
The competitors meet to discuss, develop, and present their solutions within an hour time frame. The first team to complete the challenge successfully wins $225.
The goal of the competitions is for students to exercise their minds and creativity. Challenges have included a wide variety of topics, such as designing the tallest free-standing structure using spaghetti sticks and creating a “green” toaster box design.
The Weekly Innovation Challenge is sponsored by Saint Louis University, the Kern Entrepreneurship Education Network and the Coleman Foundation.
