About CEO

The Cook School’s Collegiate Entrepreneurs’ Organization mission is to give students an opportunity to learn entrepreneurship first hand, beyond the classroom.

Collegiate Entrepreneurs’ Organization helps students connect with the people and resources which can help them get their own businesses started.

During the year, members attend a national conference, host presentations of local business leaders, organize an annual event, and start student-run businesses.

Joining Collegiate Entrepreneurs’ Organizations is a great way to meet other like-minded individuals.

Elevator Pitch Competition

A popular event is the Collegiate Entrepreneurs’ Organization Elevator Pitch competition. An elevator pitch is a 60-second, verbal-only presentation about a revolutionary business idea you have in mind. This solo competition could net you $500 for 1st place and the opportunity to represent SLU in the national competition. The event is sponsored by The Coleman Foundation and the Billiken Angels Network.
