Job Postings & Internships
The Cook School partners with University Career Services to support your recruiting efforts for full-time and internship opportunities. Eligible students may participate in the for-credit internship program, designed to provide them with work experiences to enhance their academic program.
The best method to reach alums and current students is through SLU’s online recruiting database, Handshake.
The posting system allows companies to post opportunities (free of charge), and identify a person within their organization to receive submitted resumes automatically as candidates apply. You also have the option of directing candidates to your website instead.
Handshake is uniquely designed to make it easy for employers to market their company and opportunities to as many students as possible. For this reason, we encourage you to set up your personalized company profile and job postings at slu.joinhandshake.com.
On Campus Recruiting (OCR)
SLU provides facilities for organizations to recruit candidates and conduct interviews on campus for full-time and internship opportunities. Two OCR sessions are offered during the academic year, in the fall and spring. The Handshake e-recruiting system is used to post the opportunity, review resumes, select and schedule the candidates, and interviews are conducted on SLU’s campus, providing a streamlined process for the employer.
