The ability to influence.
Leading by Example
The Cook School simply does not create followers, but we help to create leaders. Our dynamic programming, experiences, clubs, and activities challenge students to develop themselves as leaders. By weaving our values into our curriculum, we help students develop to be servant leaders who seek to make informed decisions for the benefit of all.
We model this through the excellence we strive for in our own faculty and staff, as well as the excellence of our academic programs, which are internationally accredited and nationally ranked.
When it comes to leading, we think globally.
We offer a unique Master of International Business, in an executive format, as well as offering International Business as an area of emphasis in our MBA program and as an undergraduate concentration, and we conduct and host a variety of conferences, seminars, lectures and other professional programs related to global business. Our academic and professional programs are embraced by many multinational corporations, many of which comprise the Advisory Board of the Boeing Institute of International Business. Alongside our experienced faculty and staff, Cook students will experience a robust international business program.
Our focus simply doesn’t stop at the university level. We provide opportunities for our students to expand their world view through immersing themselves in other cultures.
As a pioneer in the field of global business, in 1984, our institution supported the founding of an Institute of International Business, and we continue to be at the forefront of teaching and research on international business topics.
The John Cook School of Business encourages our undergraduate and graduate students to take advantage of the Institute’s study abroad opportunities. Our study abroad program will help develop sensitivity to the business impact of cultural, social, economic, political, religious, and geographic differences, and it a key element for building one’s international business know-how.
