Assessment Team

A cornerstone of Assurance of Learning initiatives in the John Cook School of Business is the Assessment Team that that has been assembled to help facilitate the process. 


The Assessment Team is made up of representatives from each of the seven academic departments as well as the Undergraduate and Graduate Business Program offices, the PhD Program, and the SLU Madrid Campus.  Each of the team members is charged with working with their Chair and/or faculty to design, implement, and maintain an assessment plan for their respective departments and/or programs.  This involves writing learning objectives, assessing student learning through the use of direct and indirect measures, reporting the results, and closing the loop in order to assure continual improvement.
